Oh, I miss photography it the desert. It’s not that I’m not wowed by the massive greenery and dense forest that surround me in our new hometown of Buford, Georgia (because I really am wowed!)…but there’s nothing like that harsh New Mexican sun. You have to know how to play with the light when the sun is that bright. You have to know how to move your lens to just the right position, how to work with the intense shadows, and exactly when to start shooting so the light doesn’t fall off into nothing. I know I’ll learn to find the sun again here in this near rainforest. But tonight I’ll think back to this shoot in the New Mexico and remember her senior photos in the desert. Enjoy,
Yvette,
