Just after photographing their daughter’s senior photos we decided the entire family should be photographed. They knew it had been far to long since their last photos (more than five years, if I recall correctly), and their momma desperately wanted to have photos taken before her eldest headed off to college. I was thankful to have a night free before our trek across the country. So as the sun faded one late winter evening in New Mexico we tore off our masks and climbed down the banks of the arroyo for candid and natural family photos. There was much fun to be had.
