Why does it seem the ten months leading up to the birth of a baby are slower than any other ten months? And the ten months waiting for the birth of my niece just so happened to be even slower than waiting for the birth of any other baby. Maybe it’s because we wanted her so badly. Maybe it’s because I just really needed to hold a newborn again. Maybe it’s because we knew we already loved her and just couldn’t contain our excitement any longer. Finally those ten months came to a close and she made her appearance. It was lovely. After a few days in the NICU she was out and ready for us to hold her. And none of us has put her down since. I hope you all enjoy.
