It happened so quickly. One day we were on the phone working through the details of having me photograph the birth of her baby girl, and the next morning she was in labor. She called me while filling out the contract on the way to the hospital. And although labor came early, this mom endured many, many hours of labor (oh, you strong lady!). Her baby girl arrived with a healthy set of lungs and a longing to be cuddled by her parents. It was peaceful and beautiful, and one of the most serene births I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing. It was a birth that so many wish for and few experience. Congratulations, to you all, she’s beautiful and has such an amazing mom to look up to. Enjoy these first few days together..they move so very quickly.
